In international trade, the liquid bears the name Spruce organic hydrolate for supplements. Cultivation follows organic principles, and it is precisely the absence of chemical agents and artificial fertilizers that keeps the needles clean until the day of processing. The species belongs to the Pinaceae family, and the areas with trees extend across Bulgaria. Steam distillation shapes the extraction, and therefore the freshness of the scent remains close to the harvested needle raw material in this coniferous tree species. Only the needles are kept for processing, while the other parts of the tree are discarded. The aroma is strong and places the fresh side alongside the resinous one and the forest nuances.
